I can say I'm a professional in mood swings even when I did not notice, my mood changes easily. Even though I'm still working on myself but it hasn't been easy for me because once my mood changes my facial expressions becomes fury that people who doesn't know me will easily detect something is wrong with me.
Most times, my mood swings isn't necessary on pains or when someone say a negative thing about me, it just happens naturally that I can't explain what really went wrong.
Times without number when I'm at home with my family, it's my younger sis that usually notices my mood swings, she would say "what happened aunty, your face has changed, who offended you just now"? I will immediately readjust myself and assured her that everything is okay.
Sometimes I just get this unsettled feelings which lead to my mood swings. But lately I've devised some simple tricks of how to stabilize my moods whenever I find myself feeling unsettled and it working perfectly for me which I believe it can work for anybody
- Walk Away without altering a word
I've learned to walk away from any situations that can cause me to over react or feel unsettled. If someone is the brain behind my mood swings the best thing for me to do is just to walk away. Being around such a person will fill my heart with anger, I hate to be in pain and if someone wants to cause me pains, it better to stay far away from the person as soon as possible. So I've started using this trick to maintain my sanity and it's really working for me.
- Look for something to keep me busy like listening to music and watching movies or comedy skits
Most times when I'm having mood change, I will definitely look for something to keep me busy like listening to cool music and I do this most times when I feel unsettled. I will take my phone and play cool songs that will lighten me up.
I also try to watch movies or comedy skits of my favorites comedian. I know I will definitely laugh out my worries and before you know it I'm back to my normal mood again.
After doing the above mentioned tricks, it stabilizes me and improved my mood greatly. I'm very sure it will work for you too although the tricks are simple but it works like magic
