Good afternoon everyone, Happy new year to you all once again, and welcome to my blog once again too. It's an amazing time to be here.
If you all read my last post, i talked about how i will be participating in everything done here in the holozing community, not only delegations but also drawings and other things to come.
Today, i told myself that i have to try something very different from writing and i decided to draw. Yes!! I am not a fan of art and i know i can't draw. But seeing all this creatures in different angle motivated me into trying this piece of art today. Especially the water whale, i didn't choose that one because it looked easy or simple, i choosed it because i love it.
So, i decided to pick up my drawing board and pencil to put down something even if it may not look fine...
I'm not an artist, so i don't expect it to be perfect. But this is how it went.
So i am going to list down the resources or materials that were involved in the drawing.
The resources i used are
📌 Drawing board
📌A4 paper
📌HP pencil
📌 Eraser
📌 Sharpener
📌Ruler
Firstly, i started drawing from the tail,as we can all see. Normally i don't know what a good artist should do, weather to start from the tail or anywhere.
I continued my sketching like that from the head to the tail. I do not have a colour plate or crayon so i decided to use my pencil to do both the drawing and the painting.
After the sketching, i felt like giving up because i was like, its not going to make sense since i am not a good drawer. But yet i decided to move ahead.
So i started my painting from here.
As i was painting, i realized how beautiful the outcome was coming out like. I started applauding myself because it isn't easy.
While drawing, i realized that there was a line in the original drawing.. since i was duplicating the original one but not with everything, i decided to also pick my ruler and put my whale in the box too as it is in the original.
Then, i drew my line straight and box my whale. I was admiring my piece of art
Moving forward, i saw that the original drawing had a waves and environment surrounded around it which was water. So i also decided to by creative by also drawing it alone.
I started framing my work to look my decent and furnished. I mean, i was totally enjoying my masterpiece. It was fun while drawing it.
I continued painting were was necessary.
Fine girls giving painting vibes oooo, i was very happy i was doing this.
Finally, i couldn't help but end it because everything needed to be done was done.
I was very happy seeing how i was able to replicate the drawing almost the same, i had to compare and contract. I looked for were i was wrong and did corrections.
I could feel the warmth of the whale.
I couldn't help but compare the two things together.
Yes i know that i am not perfect, but at least, i tried.
