I find that crows tend to not waste time; this one was perched on a branch for a moment, observing the surroundings. With a few short caws, it was going to the next piece of business. They always seem to have purpose in what they are doing, and compared to the other birds I see around, they keep busy. I might see magpies lingering and hopping around, hanging out in groups or sometimes solo. With the crows, they won't come down to my lawn and usually stay in higher places, like the executives of the bird world.
