Big Horn Sheep are one of my favorite mountain animals. This one is at the Calgary Zoo and lives in a mountain-like landscape created for him. I find their horns to be pretty fascinating; they protrude and curl, looking quite formidable. I have heard the sound when they butt heads with each other, and it is quite loud. This one seemed pretty relaxed, and he would look at me every so often as I took pictures.
