RE: Making time for the little things

in The MINIMALISTyesterday

I'm enjoying the sunshine while it lasts because I know it's gonna change soon.
It's a shame that you were at work when the weather was great. It's the same as hubby. The weather was brutal last week while we were on the move. Hail storms, all-day rain, and biting cold. This week, when he's back at work, I have all the sun.

I met a Canadian couple on a boat the other day. They live on the boat for a few months in the UK every year. I asked him what he prefers, and he said the weather in Canada is extreme in both winter and summer, but at least the Canadian winters are bright... unlike the UK where it's dark, grey, and wet every day.
He said he struggled here because he went to work in the dark and returned home in the dark.😏

Every place has it's ups and downs, pros and cons. We do get a decent amount of sun in Canada where I am though, which is a major plus. If it wasn't so humid here in the warmer months I would be perfectly happy with our climate. The humidity is brutal though

The humidity is brutal

Oh, I thought Canada had extremely dry heat, NOT humidity.

It's dry heat here in the UK, which I now prefer.
Jamaica is humid, like the Philippines, and I now struggle in such conditions.
Last year when I was in Bali, it was so humid that I changed outfits 3 times when I was getting dressed for dinner.😅
