I'm so glad that you finally found your way here, my friend! You are doing a great job on Ecency. I have my payout set 50/50 too, but right now with Hive at such a low value I am using my HBD to purchase Hive and power it up. There are other strategies, but before I put funds in savings I want more Hive Power so that I can help others with larger votes and delegations. Not financial advice!

              The 50% of your total rewards that gets paid to the people who voted on your post is out of your control. They will receive their curation rewards for voting.
              What the 50/50 that you are seeing is simply how you want your portion of the rewards from your post distributed. You can choose to stake (power up) 50% or 100%.
