today my exploration in the forest led me to discover two types of insects that attract attention, namely "Lycidae and mictini", and these two insects are the most important part of the forest ecosystem, and of course each insect has different behavior, that's normal, just like We as humans have different ways of life and behavior.
The first Lycidae or also known as "net-winget-beetles" these insects are famous for their stunning bright colors, these insects have relatively small bodies with rather thick wings, in general these insects have striking color patterns, often with a combination of between the prominent black and orange, one of the interesting things about Lycidae is their ability to produce chemical compounds that can repel predators around them, and this species is one of the interesting species in the study of insect self-protection.
then there are mictini which are a small group from the miridae family or better known as "leaf bugs" these insects tend to be larger and have a transparent black color, but there are several species that have green and brown colors, these insects are usually easy to find near flowering plants wild, most of the mictini group are herbivores and eat plant juices as their main food source, several mictini species are also known for controlling the population of certain wild plants, so this can affect the balance of the forest ecosystem.
The two types of insects that I have found in the forest today show the rich biodiversity of the forest, they not only enrich the natural beauty with amazing colors and patterns, but they also play a vital role in their life cycle, as I have witnessed today Today, every time I enter a natural forest habitat, I not only witness visual beauty but I also witness natural wonders that offer new insights for me, and I realize that there are the most beautiful parts of our planet that are unspoiled, and hopefully in In the future I will have the opportunity to explore various regions in the world.
thanks to the discovery of "Lycidae and mictini" in the forest today, I feel more connected to nature and appreciate how important conservation is to protect the various kinds of life that exist in the forest, through understanding and respecting the life of these insects, we can all maintain the sustainability of the ecosystem Forests are important for global prosperity for the future.
