This is a pretty interesting concept for a story, and works well to introduce this character and their ability to see visions of the future.

What you have here reads more like a screenplay, because we feel like we're being told the story, rather than experiencing it from Elkanahs first hand perspective. The thing that makes it truly feel like a screenplay is the dialogue tags for each character as they speak.

All in all, very interesting and I can imagine this being an interesting series of events where Elkanahs uses his gift to change the future.
