RE: A story of a proud and dedicated bookworm 🤓 | LOH Contest #234

The English language is dynamic and constantly changes it's form. New words, phrases, colloquialisms, literary devices, accent, lexicon, secondary meanings all may come and go as we could practically date and place the writer or speaker.
While it is confusing to most foreign readers, the old and alt usages can make a wonderful literary palette that can enhance the depth of our enjoyment of reading.

Agree, I think reading is the best way to understand a foreign language because you get familiar with grammar, sentence structure, vocabularies, and also context. If we are exposed to a new language for a long-term, we might be able to speak that language fluently, but to be able to write, reading and understanding the text if definitely needed. Thank you for your insight 😁
