True, not all situations and circumstances are the same.
In my situation I have three siblings I can call upon yet each of us have our own skills, strengths, weaknesses, geography, available time and or resources, and personal comfort levels.

It is important for all of us to confer on a weekly basis and as the family nurse I took the administrative role and if necessary some respite care. I made sure the goal and objectives are clear. If issues or concerns come up, a conference is made ASAP and resolved to the satisfaction of everyone involved. Most of all I want to make sure each one of us support the other. No one should shoulder more responsibility than they can bear.
