This is a Duponchelia fovealis. It is a macro sized moth. I saw this insect this afternoon when I was walking on the balcony of our institution. It is a very small insect but sadly it was probably dead when I saw it as it was hanging in the spider's web. Perhaps it got caught in a spider's web while flying by. But it is small but very beautiful and it is a common insect. We often see such insects around us.
There are many such small celestial insects around us. Many such insects are sometimes seen sitting on the leaves of various vegetable plants. But especially at night where electric bulbs are burning, such insects can be seen sitting in large numbers around. Perhaps there is no such thing. Yesterday this insect came to the balcony of our institution and there it got stuck in the spider's web. However, we often see such insects sitting on various objects for a long time. Which sit for a long time with two wings spread. I can sometimes see such insects sitting on the walls or on the leaves of different plants for a long time in the same place, which look very beautiful, although they are very small in size, but they look amazing.
