RE: Incompetency (Or Stupidity), Once Again

in Reflections9 days ago

I began ordering and pick up service for my groceries two years ago to avoid the crowds and cashiers at the stores. It was the best decision I made to reduce the stress in my life.

Thanks for sharing your story. Take care.

I am ordering groceries online as well, but it's not a smoothly working service either. There were times when they delivered me a totally different product, then there were products missing, so ... nothing is perfect.

Have a nice day/evening!

So sorry to hear your hiccups. I've had no problems with my local grocer, HEB. The only thing I complained about was the expiration date on the items given. If I shop inside, I'll reach back on the shelves or in the coolers and search for a longer date. I think it may be their policy though.

The one thing I don't order is my fresh meat. I like to choose that myself after receiving an item that expired within 2 days of bringing it home. That's one thing you can't control is you don't know something is wrong until later. But I haven't experienced any item missing. 🤞

I appreciate the engagement. Take care.

I suppose in time, these problems will disappear as the tendency is get most of the things delivered and the company that offers the best service will win customers over, but that's not going to be today or tomorrow, especially in my country. This is why I only order products that you can't go wrong with.

Selling products that expire in 2 days is unacceptable. In my country those products are on sale, you can buy then at 50% discount, but can't order them anymore.

I also appreciate the engagement and sharing your experience. Thank you.
