Hey there I'm also disappointed by Hive. The FOMO is terrible as we see the rest of crypto industry pump while Hive stays flat. It may be manipulated or the tokenomics are bad...I don't know. But it's depressing.
And readership is absent. It's like a skeleton crew on Hive.
I don't think HIVE price is manipulated. We are mostly unnoticed in the grand scheme of things. The way many whales have been acting is detrimental to their own stake. The silver lining is that projects like @splinterlands and @leofinance are doing the right things in their limited capacity. SPS is outperforming HIVE and many of the most popular cryptocurrencies by releasing new features and bringing in users/investments. The size of the investment makes a larger difference than the number of new users IMHO.

Yes that's a good point that SPS is out performing Hive. It may be the better investment since most Hive users are from Soloing Splinterlands currently.
I consider @splinterlands to be the best thing to happen to HIVE. I want to see the same process replicated again and again. HoloZing might be able to do it. Genesis League Goals has @aggroed leading the project. I love what has been done as part of the LEO ecosystem. These are what I have a great degree of faith in for.
