RE: On Hive: We Can Build Tens of MIllion In Value

Will do with adding another layer to the analysis... or several layers for that matter.

Agreed on the Web3 databases being mostly trash also. Perhaps if the bar for content was based on the quality of the content... instead of how much stake the content creator has... things would be different.

EDIT: @taskmaster4450 The data does not lie: https://inleo.io/@dalz/top-hive-earners-by-category-or-authors-curators-witnesses-dao-hbd-interest-or-november-2023

So we can conclude that Web3 databases are, in many ways, following Web2. That is simply the nature of things it seems.

However, there were some in Web2 who built more than just the garbage. So far, we do not see a great deal of that on Web3. Imagine being given free infrastructure (only requiring RC to write to the network) and ignoring it.

In Web2, people pay for their infrastructure.

Maybe the jury is still out on that one given Web3 is still in its infancy.

Unsure on the RC thing but will assuredly mull your words over in an effort to gain understanding.
