The world is on fire
As you for sure seen, I had a serious gap in my posting habits. I was waiting for the parcel coming from Canada. It took a month or so to arrive...
The reason is quite simple, the political world is on fire. I mean something goes wrong, and it's not just local, it's spread all around ...
The re-election of Trump, the rise of the right wings in several countries, the war in Ukraine and even in Gaza makes a huge tension on everyone.
So, when our government decided to cut in our social rights, it was the straw that breaks the camel's back...
The citizens were so bored of all those news that they went on striking. Almost a hundred thousands of men and women were there to remind our government they can't do whatever they want.
And thus the postal services were seriously slowed down until recently.
Now I can be more regular again, at least for a while, until my next order from the other side of the pond 😛.
What's up on in your region ?
Do you also feel that something isn't right in your region of the world ? Or is it only by us?
I am in Belgium, as you know, in the center of Europe, and I must admit I do not sleep well.
Many signs remind horrors from the past, with people calling upon wars, people doing "roman salutes", and even treasons done publicly ...
I sincerely hope I am wrong and that it will soon return to normal.
Let the citizens unite in peace, don't allow our leaders to manipulate us all into wars we do not want.
