The goals…
So, the end of the year is approaching, which means... high time to write a report again. Yes, I know, it's week 52, and I've only managed to produce 20 weekly reports. At least you won't be able to say that I milked the system 😊
In the last few months, I've been very busy, and I lacked the courage to compile these reports. It's not that I wasn't keeping track of my progress, but informing everyone about it every week seemed a bit much. Week after week, there were no remarkable changes anyway...
But now, with the end of the year in sight, it's worth delving deeper into the results. So, first, the goals for 2023...
As a reminder for those who don't follow me: the goal for 2023 was to quit/reduce smoking and thereby invest the saved money in Hive. And now, at the end of the year, I can reflect on both good and bad news...
First, the good news... the goals have been exceeded by a wide margin! I believe the numbers speak for themselves and don't require further explanation.
The bad news: I haven't quit smoking 😒 There are various reasons for that, but certainly none good... Hopefully, 2024 will be a better year, and we'll give it another try. After all, every cigarette less is still good news, right?
Anyway, since I continued to buy Hives, the overall portfolio looks quite different since my last report. See for yourself:
The portfolio
Not bad, huh? No red figures, only black ink 😉
It's certainly better than what a standard savings account yields. Therefore, I think I'll just continue here on Hive next year. Perhaps I'll invest a bit less in the second-layer tokens because, in general, the results there are a bit less interesting. Apart from "Alive," "Dhedge," and "Bee," I'll be less inclined to purchase new tokens.
I haven't set new goals for 2024 yet; I need to think about that a bit. However, I'm considering doing something with HBD... we'll see.
For now, I'm going to close this report... compared to the past few weeks, I've written quite a bit here. So...
Thanks for reading and see you all next year!
Cheers,
