Hello friends in the #hive-179017 community! It feels good to be here again.
On what was supposed to be a national holiday in honor of the late ex-president Muhammadu Buhari, I had planned to stay home— rest, eat, play with my kids, and sleep. However, life had other plans. My son had been showing signs of illness days before, and I wasn't feeling well myself. So, I decided we should all go for a lab test and receive treatment.
Though I felt weak, and my son cried and ran at the sight of the syringe, this made my daughter laugh so much that she started coughing. I reached for a bottle of water for her to drink, and afterwards, she stopped coughing. Anyway, I was relieved that the test went well. As I sat down, drained, sleepy, but grateful, I suddenly saw a beautiful shadow cast on the floor near the hospital corridor. That moment gave me an unexpected peace. I immediately took a photo before it disappeared—something I wouldn't have captured if I had stayed indoors.
Even in discomfort, there's always something worth noticing.
