Hello photolovers,
I have been to the Van Abbemuseum in the city of Eindhoven.
Tis is a museum for modern and contemporary art and it is located in the center of the city of Eindhoven. This museum is open since the year 1936. It is named after its founder, Henri van Abbe. Van Abbe was a lover of modern art and he wanted to let the people of Eindhoven enjoy modern and contemporary art.
I went together with a friend of my who you often see in the pictures. Because every one who joins me, needs to be model to.
If you look closely in this museum, you can find all kind's of reflection spots. like this railing. I really like these kind of finds.
My model colored perfectly with this wall. and again a little reflection.
This is in the middle of the museum, I call it the atrium. Don't know if that is the correct word for this empty space. And right in the top there is a sailboat hinging from the sealing. It is a replica of a "The Guppy 13" It's one of the smallest sailing boats in the world, of which only 300 were made between 1974 and 1975. The Dutch artist Bas Jan Ader wanted to cross the Atlantic Ocean with this boat, called Ocean Wave. On July 9, 1975, he left Cape Cod, but after three weeks radio contact with him was lost. Nine months later his boat was found unmanned by a Spanish fishing boat about 240 kilometers off the coast of Ireland. Ader's body was never found. his work is on exhibit in this museum.
This is an elevator. it's just a functional thing. but the architect made it look nice. If you look good. I really like these kind of things. I tried to capture it from different perspectives to create my own art.
