Greetings everyone! What’s up? I hope you have an amazing day! Excited to connect with you, so let’s get things started. Since our son and daughter in law were here for a vacation, we took them on a tour to some local attractions here in Dubai. These are the destinations we explored Dubai Frame, Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa.
The Dubai Frame is striking architectural wonder. The very precise design of exterior was characterized by bold geometric patterns. It expresses the combination heritage and modern characteristic of Dubai. This visit outside the Dubai Frame absorbed in a lively atmosphere that perfectly captured Dubai spirit.
Next stop was in Dubai Mall, where Burj Khalifa was standing right beside the mall. Dubai Mall is a largest shopping mall and popular tourist destination. We roamed around since our Burj Khalifa was at 2:30 pm and we make most of the time. It's a home to Luxury boutiques, global fashion brands and everything in between. With a variety of restaurants, entertainment zones, Dubai aquarium and Ice skating rink.
Dubai Skating Rink offers indoor ice skating and one of the leisure attraction in Dubai Mall.
The Man Waterfall represents pearl diving, part of the rooted history of the country.
Stepping outside of Dubai Mall, you will be greeted by the panoramic view where modern architecture meets the city life. The Burj Khalifa soars into the sky and shimmering in the sunlight. The Dubai Fountain stretches across a large open area of water. Surrounding the fountain, a variety of coffee shops and restaurants offering a cozy place to sip your drinks or enjoy meals while taking the incredible view.
The Chinatown section offering a vibrant taste of Chinese culture. This area was designed with traditional Chinese architecture, red lanterns and decorative structures that transport visitors straight to the streets of China. You will find here the variety of authentic Chinese cuisine. Some shops offer a mix of Chinese delicacies and souvenirs.
While we have so much time before our schedule to Burj Khalifa, we decided to explore the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. The moment we entered, we were surrounded by breathtaking marine life. The colorful fish swimming overhead. Some vibrant school of fish, sharks, rays and more. There are also gigantic crocodiles dwell in the underwater zoo over the aquarium. They are featuring some exotic creatures. This unexpected adventure that made our day more unforgettable.

Around the World: Challenge #42/5
Finally our time to experience Burj Khalifa has come. Long lines of tourists greeted us as we approached near the entrance. We're beyond excited as we step to the elevator to reach the 124 and 125 floors. The anticipation was built as we get closer to the top. As we reached the top the view was absolutely breathtaking. The skyline of Dubai looked even more majestic, the wideness of the land was mesmerizing. You can see the buildings below and even spotted the intricate patterns of city's layout and the roads weaving between them. Even though this was my 3rd time to be up here I was still in awe. It was a pure joy being up here as a family. The memory we'll treasure forever.
