Hello Hivers! I'm back! How are you? I Hope all is well! I want to share some of my happenings for the last few days.
After a year apart, the wait is over. Our son and his wife is now here with us. We're so happy to have them for a month. Even though he's grown up and has a wife now, in our hearts, he will always be our little GG. No matter how old he gets, we will cherish every hug, every laughter and every moment together. Family time like this is priceless and we treasure every second while he is with us.
This is the time we headed at the airport. We took the fast lane to avoid any delays and make sure we arrived on time for our son's arrival. The thought of seeing him again makes us so excited.
As the airport comes into the view, I saw aircrafts parked on the tarmac, lined up in rows. Their bodies shines under the bright light. A mixed of emotions settles in as we are approaching the place.
The bridge connecting to the airport entrance stretched ahead. The structure with glass panels offered an overlooking view outside with cars passing by.
The waiting area features a variety of places to relax and refresh. There are coffee shops where you can grab your favorite brew. An eatery where they offer Lebanese food. A convenience store providing snacks, drinks and other essentials. There is also a lounge where guests can relax and recharge.
Finally, they are here! Me and my husband was so happy to see them. I gave him a big hug and so with my daughter in law. It's one of the moment that fills my heart with so much joy. I couldn't help but a little teary-eyed. It's been a year and having them here makes everything feel complete.
We went to Persian Kebab Restaurant for a late dinner and turned out to be the perfect choice. We ordered special mix grill platter, delicately marinated and grilled to perfection, mix of chicken, lamb and beef kebabs, served with aromatic saffron rice, butter, lemon and grilled vegetables.
Outside the restaurant, the Mosque stands with beautiful arches and towering spires. My son capture a photo of me preserving the beauty of the moment.
After our dinner, my husband decided to roamed around to the vibrant streets of Dubai. We passed by to some breathtaking landmarks. The Museum of the Future, Burj Khalifa and other towering skyscrapers. It's lights illuminating the night sky. It was the perfect way to end our evening.
