As I checked the banana plants if it good to harvest, I found out that it is good to get that is why I cleaned the area first so that I can easily get the fruit out of the banana stem. The last time I cut banana, I was very shocked when some dangerous insects bit me in the head and it was very painful to me. That is why I keep myself safe away from it and to avoid that I will clean the area first and checked if there is a deadly insect living in the place.
I'm having a little problem on how I am going to get those banana fruit in bushy places, Aside from that, I don't know whats in this bushy places. I carefully removed all the wild grass and observed the place before cutting the banana fruit in the stem. Here in our place, it is our tradition that when we finished cutting those bananas, we also cut the stem and let it rot so it will grow some mushrooms and other kinds of plants that can be eaten.
I was very happy to see this first fruit of my banana plants. I checked it the stalk of the fruit to see if there are black spots on it and it was very lucky that it doesn't. We called this kind of banana, SABA in local term and it is very perfect for snacks. There are many kinds of delicious snacks out of banana and some of this are , Fried Banana or Maruya, Mash Banana or Linuyang and Boiled Banana. All of this are very delicious and good to eat.
Our Province is one of the place that produce bananas and this is our one of our primary source of income. We sell this to our market place and some of this are being export to other side of the country. There are also small buyers that offered themselves to buy the banana fruit it an exact prizes and we gladly to sell to them. But as the years has passed, the number of our banana plants are slowly decreasing and I have plans to plant more again.
The next thing I did was to put it in a sack so that the insects can't eat it. This is our tradition that if we harvested banana we immediately put it in a sack so that it will instantly turn into yellow one ready to pell and fried what ever snacks we like to eat out of this banana.
The next I did was to gathered some bamboo branches for my Garden. I have plans to plant more string beans because as my Father told me that planting more string beans is very perfect here in our place. String beans is a kind of vine plants that is why It should be put some branches so that it will cling to and it can easily produce more beans.
I also fetched more water for cleaning porpuses and as I said on my previous post about our river, this gives us a big help just like what I did. This is a kind of exercise and it can help our place particularly our house to become clean always.
Living in a simple life here in the Province is perfect for me. It can relax my mind and leave in a peaceful and quite place.
