This theory is so overhyped. The Singularity is not coming as some think. It’s 90% hype and yes 10% real advancement. But this expectation is a hype bubble that will end with dot com bubble 2.0

Actually from a economic perspective, the economic singularity if you will, is not hype. It actually has been in the works for a long time. We are now seeing a compression of things especially as tech abilities go global.

You could be right about the technological/AGI debate but an economic perspective will see a vast difference by the end of this decade. By 2040, the economic puzzle will be at least an order of magnitude higher, although most will not realize it, at least based upon the same out of date metric.
