Happy weekend everyone!
Thank you @galenkp
Have you saved a life? (Animal or human.) Tell us the story. This must be a true story, not fictional.
I was about to go to work on that fateful day, still in my panties when I heard a knock on my door. I went to open the door and found my neighbor's son, who was 8 years old, named David, and the eldest among the children. She has four children with the last baby 5 months old.
The conversation between David and I:
David: Good morning ma
Myself: Good morning dear
David: Come and see my Mummy
Myself: What?
David: I don't know
Myself: Okay
David left and I went inside my apartment to think about what David came to tell me. Could this boy be playing this early morning? Why did he do that? What's wrong with his mother? All these were my thoughts when the Holy Spirit ministered to me to leave whatever I was doing to check up on this woman.
The beautiful soul I saved.
I carried my gown and wore it, then ran upstairs to see what was going on. On getting there, I was shocked to see my neighbor in her pool of blood. What happened? Where is your husband? What is this? She could not answer any of my questions 😭
My area is an area that is so silent, especially during working days, you might not see anyone around because the majority would have gone to work.
I ran downstairs again not knowing what I could do, then I went up again, I was sweating, and my heartbeat was beating faster than usual. A human is lying lifeless, what do I do? Then I went to the main road to get a tricycle. By that time, I had been calling her husband, but his mobile number was not reachable 🤔🤔
The tricycle man helped me to carry the woman, he carried her like a baby because she couldn't walk and we took her to the hospital. She was referred to the emergency straight, we almost lost her. All through our journey, I kept on calling her name, talking to her to check if she was still breathing. I was scared!
She was attended to immediately and resuscitated back to life. The blood that came out of her was just too much. I came back home to check on her children and also packed the blood cot on the floor, cleaned the house, and took food to her in the hospital.
I was there throughout before her husband got to know about the woman he left at home this morning while going to work. He said she was the one that made his food and nothing happened to his wife as at the time he was living. Can you see it? *life and death is one second *
I'm glad, God used me to save her life.
I could have ignored the child that came to tell me🤔
I could have gone to my place of work without looking back🤔
The woman could have died as a result of losing too much blood and having no one around to help her live🙆🙆
I could have not forgiven myself if the woman had died as a result of my negligence.
Thank God, I could save her!
