The advent of AI and robots has been a great privilege for both individual and organisations however the role of human beings can't be completely eradicated as it seems to be. The technological advancements has really caused lots of transformation and increase productivity in surplus organisations today.
The technological advancements has improved the activity of man and organisations. It has curb lots of time waste. Few time invested into a thing which yields more results. Over the ages, there has been gradual transformation from one level to another. Previously, there wasn't any thing like mobile phone neither was there good communication channel. It costs lots to send or convey message from one point to another. At times human beings are used to deliver such messages by travelling miles. The introduction of handset has really boosted the telecommunications industry today and has reduced cost effective. This is a viable achievement. With all these does it mean man is irrelevant? Not at all.
The educational system or sector for instance has also received a quantum leap through the invention of educational aid like computers, projector etc which eases learning presently. This is part of technological advancements. There are Artificial intelligence which controls most of the task that can be done in school. Even though this is good but yet can't relegate the role of human beings. The AI or robots has sorts of limitations compared to human beings. During COVID-19, I was deeply exposed to the relevance of AI. The organisation I worked with then recorded her highest attendance in a training during those restrictions. I was shocked of what I saw on the zoom platform. We had over ten different countries that showed her presence. It remained a long term vision until the advent of the new technology which fast forwarded our plans reality on time.
With AI and robots is there any hope for man? to work again?
This question though real but I strongly believe that there are other opportunities that seeks expression for all human beings. The robots and AI aren't they created by human beings? They may have some level of efficiency and effectiveness but human beings are still required to navigate such equipment.
I had a conversation with a young who is a computer guru and started sharing different AI that could be used to write content. Hmmm I clearly told him that is an offence in this sphere. You'll be excommunicated if found guilty. I told him in as much as AI is good but there should be limit. Most young people are lazy such that they find it difficult to reason with their brains instead take counsel from AI and robots. No matter what, all these can't think like human beings.
All opportunity is not gone yet despite AI and robots. I like humanitarian services and going out for outreaches. Just imagine a robot standing before people preaching...hmmmm imagine robots going out for evangelism how would it interact with people? What if some life application questions are asked? I doubt whether the robot can be emotional, sympathetic? Imagine you went for condolences and robot is allowed to sympathize with the desist...No matter the nature of the job, human beings will be needed to manipulate such gadgets. AI and robots are good but can't completely substitute human beings.*
