El pasado domingo 1º de febrero de 2025, nos dimos cita en la Cimarronera, hogar de nuestro querido amigo Lucio Seijas, presidente de la directiva de CAUZAPC (Círculo de Compositores y Autores Unidos de Zamora, Aragua, Pablo Cabrera), para realizar una asamblea en la que se presentó a los socios la primera memoria y cuenta del año anterior, enfocándose en el fondo de compensación que ha servido de apoyo a los miembros.
Además, el secretario de actas, Alexis Herrera, quien fue el orador de orden, y otros directivos comentaron sobre las actividades que han apoyado iniciativas como la Misión Viva Venezuela mi Patria Querida y el registro de los cultores del municipio Zamora en sus parroquias.
También se comenzó a trabajar con los niños para promover la música venezolana desde pequeños con la iniciativa "CAUZAPC va a la escuela".
Por otra parte, se han homenajeado a figuras culturales como el poeta Pablo Cabrera, que da nombre a nuestro proyecto; al folclorista y coleador Juan Colmenares; y al poeta José Argenis Díaz, escritor y también miembro de #hive, conocido con el usuario @rayuela, autor de varios libros de poesía. Este año 2025 se seguirán haciendo homenajes a otros cultores locales. Un punto importante fue la entrega de carnets a los asociados, lo que le da más formalidad al Círculo.
En esta reunión estuvieron presentes representantes de la Sociedad de Autores y Compositores de Venezuela (Sacven) y del Círculo de Autores y Compositores de Aragua (CIACA), incluyendo al maestro arpista y amigo Jesús "Chucho" Acevedo, presidente interino de Sacven; César Brito, miembro principal de la junta fiscalizadora; Facundo Perdomo, vocal de la junta directiva de Sacven; la cantante internacional Carmencita Lara, presidenta de CIACA; el cantautor Carlos Díaz, conocido en el mundo artístico como el gaban policía, vicepresidente; el incansable luchador y gran amigo Miguel Rangel, vocal; entre otros.
La asamblea fue presidida por Lucio Seijas con Leonardo Villalonga como vicepresidente, José Medrano, Moisés Rondón y Alexis Herrera. También asistieron poetas y compositores como César Enrique Acosta, Oscar Carrasquel, Elizabeth Romero, Liris Miyares, mi estimada María Teresa Fuenmayor (conocida en nuestra colmena como @sayury ) y el cantautor Federico González , El moderador del programa radial Venezuela y su Folclor, Manuel González. El maestro del arpa Víctor Morales, Emilio Pérez de la parranda Turpiales de Aragua (patrimonio cultural del estado Aragua), Alcides Rebolledo de la parranda show, Darío Silva y la folclorista Beatriz Miro también estuvieron presentes. Como invitados especiales estuvieron los miembros de la Sociedad Religiosa La Coromoto, quienes recibieron un reconocimiento por su apoyo a las actividades del CAUZAPC. Y mi persona Diego López (@encuentro).
Cabe destacar que la directiva de Sacven y CIACA felicitaron al grupo por la organización y los logros alcanzados con autogestión y emprendimiento. Realmente fue un momento ameno y lleno de encuentro entre amigos de muchos años del gremio folclorista. También nos acompañó un cantador del joropo central: el amigo Marcelo Piñero. Y luego tuvimos un rico compartir con cafecito y pan con crema de guasacaca.

Last Sunday, February 1, 2025, we gathered at Cimarronera, the home of our dear friend Lucio Seijas, president of the CAUZAPC (Circle of Composers and Authors United of Zamora, Aragua, Pablo Cabrera) board, to hold an assembly where the first report and account of the previous year was presented to the members, focusing on the compensation fund that has supported the members.
Additionally, the secretary of records, Alexis Herrera, who was the keynote speaker, and other board members discussed the activities that have supported initiatives such as the Viva Venezuela My Beloved Homeland Mission and the registration of cultural practitioners in Zamora municipality in their parishes.
We also started working with children to promote Venezuelan music from a young age with the initiative "CAUZAPC goes to school".
Furthermore, we have honored cultural figures such as the poet Pablo Cabrera, who gives his name to our project; the folklorist and cowboy Juan Colmenares; and the poet José Argenis Díaz, writer and also a member of #hive, known by the username @rayuela, author of several poetry books. This year, 2025, we will continue to honor other local cultural practitioners. An important point was the issuance of ID cards to the members, which gives more formality to the Circle.

It is worth noting that the Sacven and CIACA board congratulated the group for the organization and achievements reached through self-management and entrepreneurship. It was truly a pleasant moment filled with reunion among long-time friends of the folklorist guild. We were also joined by a singer of the central joropo, our friend Marcelo Piñero. And later, we enjoyed a delightful gathering with coffee and bread with guasacaca cream.
