It feels like you read my mind, though we approached this from different angle. The rate at which the society is increasing the necessity of having money is extremely alarming. It seems our value is now attached to our possessions and net-worth. The significance of our voices depends how much we can offer, there is no longer a place for an average man anymore.
I heard a statement someday and I kept wondering what this life has become. The man said "A poor man as nothing to live for" then I asked my self, does being poor make a person less human than the wealthy?
There is a particular church in Ikene in Ogun State, in their car park, cars are parked according to their brands and logo. The moment you enter the church and see what others are wearing it takes a lot of courage not to feel intimidated and depressed. As in from what you wear you will be judged instantly, Is that not hilarious 😂.
