I think in general, because of instant messaging and texts, the face to face you mention just doesn't happen much anymore, and we tend to feel more alone and isolated than ever before. It also makes us shy of sharing with others for we tend to forget how to trust another with our inner most thoughts and emotions.

Thank you @elizabethbit for stopping by and commenting, it is certainly essential to use the phone, networks, distance also influences and that is when I should be thankful that they exist to maintain contact with our fellow men, that is very useful to help us with physical and mental health.
