Hi there everyone. Welcome to today's episode of … drumroll please…”what did Doreen make “ today's piece is a backless gown.

I remember talking about a fashion show I attended “uyo fashion week” and that I made a few collaborations in a bid to use the publicity of the show to somehow drag attention to my brand and revive it in almost the same breath.

This is one of them. I'm using my client pictures and I'm blurring her face because age doesn't know her picture is used here so to be safe ill be blurring my clients faces if I use heir image here. I hope you all understand.

So back to this dress. I named the “ASHA” dress after my client since she is the first to get this.

I have a habit of naming custom pieces with the names of the clients that first ordered them or first wore them. So that's how I got the name for this dress. The Asha dress.

Backstory of this dress yeah. She texted me about attending the show but she wanted to wear a custom piece for the event.

And after deliberating we got a solid idea but then since I too wanted to use the content for my page officially I swapped it from an order to a collaboration. With her permission of course.

We talked it out and it was a win-win for both my brand and her.

So we proceeded to process the order and I sent my assistant to take her measurements since that period was a lot for me at the shop so the freedom of stepping out was something I barely had so asking my assistant to do it was safer.

When the measurements got back we got to work almost immediately. This is me apologizing because some part of the process was not photographed.

I was immersed so to say. And when the skirt was complete I took the measurement again to be sure it was very accurate.

Then on to the top. This part didn't take time at all. At least not like it was supposed to or we thought it would. We made an appointment and sent the dress for a fitting and my client loved it.

Texted to tell me how it was a perfect fit and was curious as to when she'll get it in excitement. Actually we fixed a day and our idea came to life.

It felt so good seeing my work at the show we did get compliments and it took a lot of composure to say thank yand not scream in excitement but yeah she looked stunning and I got my reviews in pictures and videos. I'm just generally excited that it was a success.
