Back in those days, people can swear by an oaths in other to prove there sincerity, some will swear by their own lives and others swear by God while some by their own lives which always proven the gravity of their seriousness .
Because they know once it is broken they will face the route, this way the are serious with any oaths the take.but our world today will just swear even when what that person is saying is not true but yet he will be swearing by God and is most common with business people, something of 2000 they will be swearing by God that is 4000, because there concern is dead, God will help our generation to live in the way of God.
We will give account of our action, do not create a trap for yourself by trying to vow by what you know is not true, no need to swear, anyone that wants to believe you, let him do and any person that doesn't so be it, let your no be no .
Let your actions speak louder than words, that is what we need in our world today, let our actions speak not by swearing.
