I'm not much of a whisky guy, but finding a limited edition is always good.

Bourbon is extremely popular in Japan right now for some reason. One of my students is a whisky lover. On a business trip to the States recently, he picked up a bottle of bourbon for $200. Sorry, I forget the name. He told me, but it was in one ear and out the other. Anyway, he brought it back to Japan and sold it for around $500 (in yen). Pretty good deal if you ask me!

        Dang, that does seem like a good deal! I'd be curious to know what it was now. I can think of a couple it might have been, but even at $200 he would have been overpaying. It took me a while to get used to the flavor, but now I really appreciate it.
