I'm from Medellín, a city that breathes between mountains, beautiful women, art, culture, and a lot of innovation.
On my way to class last week, I walked into this public gallery in my city, where these paintings struck me with their strength, color, and the feeling that they’re telling you a story.
There’s a lot of art here made by local people for the world people who simply want to express their thoughts through a canvas.
I think one of the words that best represents my city is PARSERO, which we paisas (people born in Medellín) use to refer to a friend or someone we care about although I personally say PARSE more often, which comes from the same word.
