It’s so true about the motivation and execution planning that happens in the shower. I didn’t realise it was so common - I thought it was just a place where I was able to think clearly! Out of interest, did the podcast happen to mention why the shower is such a common place for motivational thoughts?
I was once told (regarding weight loss/fitness) that if you wait for motivation to come, you’ll never start, and that you just need to start and then, as the weight drops off, motivation will develop. So your point about not wanting to do things is really a valid one, but it seems that forcing oneself to move really is the only option.
