Hello Friends,

As we know, recently there are 5 new rulesets introduced by splinterlands team and one of those rulesets is the beefcakes ruleset.

Rulesets are the rules that we need to follow or rather, the splinterlands will set in terms of restrictions while selecting the teams or the restrictions on the way the battle is played.

Beefacakes ruleset is a new one which restricts the use of monsters which are having health minimum of 5 with no maximum health limit.

This means, a monster should have atleast 5 health to be eligible to be used in a battle with this ruleset.

We now have enough monsters to choose from and selecting 6 monsters with health 5 or more is not an issue unless we have an additional ruleset which restricts the mana cost limit with lesser mana cost.

So, i am sharing a battle with beefcakes ruleset as i share the details below:

Battle and Lineup:

The battle i am sharing as you see from above screenshot is with 27 mana cap and beefcakes was one of the rulesets which also had blood and sunder ruleset which is about corrosive ward to loose 2 armors when a melee monster is attacked.

The battle also had other ruleset return fire which will throw the return fire on ranged attack monsters.

The monsters i used for this battle are as below:

Lineup:

Noa the just:

The front monster i used was noa the just and used kulu mastermind in second position to provide this monster with melee attack as kulu mastermind is a weapons training monster.

Kulu mastermind:

Used this being a opportunity ability monster where, it get to attack the monster with lowest health first.

The good thing with this monster is, it has 5 melee attack, has speed of 4 and health 9 and weapons training of it helps adjacent monsters to gain melee attack ability.

Merdaali guardian:

Merdaali guardian is another no attack monster but gets melee attack because of kulu mastermind but this will not attack untill it comes to front position as it's just a melee attack it gets and is not opportunity ability.

Pelacor bandit:

Used this for a sneak attack as there might be monsters with lesser health on back end of the lineups and this monster gives 4 melee attack with sneak attack in each round.

Angelic mandarin:

Lastly, i used this ranged attack monster which has silence ability to reduce the magic attack and it also has triage ability to heal back end monsters from my side and it gives 2 ranged attack with 4 speed.

Battle:

The battle was fought for 5 rounds and use of kulu mastermind and merdaali guardian was helpful here as opportunity ability of kulu mastermind helped in removing some monsters from second line and merdaali guardian kept on healing and building armors for noa the just which kept it active to face the diemonshark used by opponent.

Once the backend monsters used by opponent were removed with the help of pelacor bandit and kulu mastermind, it was easy to remove diemonshark and win this battle.

I have shared the battle link above and can be viewed to go thru the battle.

Thank you.
