The worst part is that other cronies are going to take inspiration. Most of the companies that mocked Apple for getting rid of the charger and headphone jack soon followed to do the exact same. I will assume the worst unless proven otherwise and pirate as an act of rebellion. These companies are not legitimate sellers/renters in my eyes anymore. They are not part of a free market.
Ya they’ve not been free market for a long time. It’s cronyism more than anything sadly.
