I actually just got myself a little bit of Evan Williams this past weekend! I haven’t had whiskey or bourbon in a while so I wanted to get some. I would love to get some of these more local ones but they are expensive lol. You get what you pay for for sure but I certainly enjoy the taste of a nice glass.

I was shocked to see it hit 100k as well! I know that things are certainly going to continue to fluctuate hopefully not as wildly as it has been. I wonder what the bottom will be so I can plan accordingly!

I've actually never had a lot of the offerings from Evan Williams, but they have a pretty cool facility in downtown Louisville. I stopped in there a year or so ago to buy special bottle for my buddy. There are some good regional ones out there, but unless they have been around for a while they are probably sourcing their whiskey from someplace(s) else and blending it to get the flavor profile they want. Still good, but not as authentic as places who are offering single barrel stuff.

Yeah we had a vineyard here that sourced their single barrel stuff. It was good but it also cost 80$ for a bottle lol it was a one-time splurge.

The very first time I puked drinking was drinking Evan Williams honey whiskey. It was a rough night hahaha and I was a late puker - I didn’t puke from alcohol until I was about 24 which isn’t at all what my friends could say for themselves. I don’t like getting too far, just right and I’m good.

Those days of drinking until I got sick are well behind me too. I didn't start drinking until I was 24 so I had a lot of catching up to do in my late twenties.
