I read through the question and I wondered if whoever came up with this particular one did not have students like myself who do not work in mind when they thought this up. Whatever it is though, I think i understand.
Since I currently school but have worked in time past, I will go ahead to share what I think of this question in relation to that time.
Last job I did was work as a home educator. A lot of times before, in my previous posts, I have shared my experiences as regards how the job went. How tasking yet rewarding.
Working as a home educator, one of the things I told myself that I would not tolerate was a parent/guardian who interfered with my work in a way that wasn't appealing and had little to no positive impact on the classes. I mean, interfering in the way that I thought condescending or which somehow spelt that i was incapable of performing optimally at my job.
This should be no benefit per se but, it is for me. If you've worked in close reins to/with parents you'll realize that they can be intruding, sometimes.
Therefore when I started out on the job and a couple of my student's wards let me do my thing, only asking questing, filling me in on their child's likes and class teachers remarks from school, it felt so good.
Plus, I could do whatever i wanted with the kids, whenever and deploying my own technique. It did not matter if the kids went home to their parents to lay complaints, the parents always called me privately and relayed what the child had said without putting me down. It was a highly sane environment, with terms that was okay for the parties involved.
Some other benefit of my job then was the liberty to my time. I mean, I had all the freewill to hold a class at the time I chose and for whatever duration. Mostly. I called the shots. Due to this flexibility, I could handle other tasks that weren't in any way related to the job and get to live a well time-structured life all to my convenience. Actually, the job went with a timing that was good for everyone.
If the nature of the job I had wasn't as it was, say I was employed by a firm, it's very likely that I would not enjoy the liberty of time as I did because I would run by the conditions and timing of my employer. The time thing was something I was grateful for while at that job.
However, as regards the first benefit which was mutual respect, I don't think I would sit through anything contrary. That one should be a given and the absence of it only tells how placed, based on value ststem that I am. Surely, this isn't anything to think about. It is expected. Every worker's right.
There was a lot more benefits i enjoyed on that job. It was a fun ride in many respects, but these were tops. I think.
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
