Hello friends of this beautiful community of travelers!
Today, I wanted to share with you an experience that I had a few Sundays ago, because sometimes on Sundays I like to go walking in the middle of nature, I am very lucky because where I live every now and then some group of citizens of some town organize picnics on pre-established routes and so today in this post I wanted to share some photos that I had taken that Sunday, where I had walked about 12 km on the Berici Hills near the town of Orgiano in the province of Vicenza.
I am not a super walker, but when the weather is nice I have a bit of free time I always take advantage of it to take a walk, even if unfortunately in this period I have to be a bit careful because I always have a bit of allergy and this really creates problems for my nose.
It was the first time I participated in this walking race, which is organized here in Orgiano, and I must say that they organized themselves very well because the route was well marked, so there was no risk of getting lost. And anyway, a lot of people participated, the beauty of these walks, in the fact that everyone participates, both those who take it as a competitive race, and those who instead use these routes to walk and keep fit a bit.
The 12 km route was quite easy except for the beginning which was a bit of a climb, every now and then there was a. Refreshment point where you could refresh yourself with food and drink, this is a custom when they organize these walking races, the beauty of walking in these places that you can really observe the surrounding nature, you can admire beautiful views because in any case most of the route was a multitude of about 300 meters, Among other things, fortunately it was a beautiful day and so you could enjoy a beautiful view.
the route ran alongside an old, disused military base
The beauty of these walks Also because you can meet people who have more or less your passions that the somewhat sporty ones of walking, and so maybe you can also make an appointment for the next events, because they organize quite a few here in the area.
Yes the pasta seems little But you could have had seconds
There was also a musical group to entertain us when we arrived
In the end the tour It was a bit of a loop, and we returned to where we started, there was the final refreshment point where I basically also ate some pasta that gave me the energy to return home and take a lovely shower.
I hope my story was interesting, I don't know if they organize these foot walks in your area, but in my opinion they are also great things to discover places that are perhaps close to your home.
See you soon!
