A big hello, dear Leofinance community! It's May 15th, and with it our 5th major event of the year: #LPUD. The day we take a quantity of our liquid Leo tokens, either by purchasing them on the market or accumulating them by microblogging on #inleo, then locking them up. This way, we achieve two things: reducing excess Leo liquidity and increasing our participation power on the platform. As of today, the price of the Leo token is $0.017, an affordable price if you want to buy Leos to do the LPUD, like I did.
To be honest, I've been having serious connection issues these past two weeks so I couldn't continue my microblogging activities on inleo so I had to buy some leo tokens on Hive Engine, fortunately their price is quite affordable and I ended up buying about 128 leos.
But getting back to the event, I like to do the LPUD directly from the inleo portal. You can access it from your profile in the wallet tab. Once there, you'll be able to see your main assets in hive and leo tokens.

This time, we're locking up 151 Leos, which is the amount we regularly lock up each month. As of April 15th, we had a total of 612.46 Leo tokens locked up, or Leo Power if you prefer to think of it as your participation power on the platform. With this addition, we reach a total of 763 Leo Power.

Curiously, it does not appear here, but last year I successfully completed the 12 LPUDs of 2024, a total of 2,000 Leo Power, but I decided to delegate them and daily I receive approximately 0.15 Leos. I hope that by the end of 2025 I will be able to reach another 2,000 Leo Power to continue growing on the platform.

BBH
BBH or Bitcoin Backed Hive is a layer-2 hive project based on the creation of a token with a 1-to-1 satochi parity. I loved this project because of the seriousness of its goals and also because of the rewards. I receive weekly rewards in different tokens, but two of them stand out from the rest: Leo token rewards and swap.hive rewards.
The BBH token can't be locked, so the rewards we receive are primarily for holding them in our wallet. I currently have over 52K, which also allows me to tip comments. There's also the BBHO token, which can be locked, and we can earn it by using the #BBH tag on our posts.
Panda/Panda miner
The Panda project was recently created in 2024. It caught my attention first because of its vision, based on delegation rewards under a stable and trustworthy framework. It is also led by Lazy-Panda, responsible for hive learners, whose goal is to seek adoption of the hive project based on knowledge, not speculative shortcuts.
The interesting thing is that the rewards for delegating and locking Panda Miner tokens are both liquid Hive and Panda tokens, which has led me to consider increasing my stake by delegating more HP and/or purchasing more Panda Miner tokens. The latter option seems more attractive to me since I don't have much HP available.
Proof of Brain (PoB) & Archons
These are community tokens that I've found interesting. I'll start with the one I've been working on for the longest time, which is Proof of Brain. I started joining this community when I was learning the basics of Hive and Web 3. It's a token that can be locked to gain influence within the community and voting power, which is paid for with the PoB token. As you can see, I currently have almost 10K of the token, the result of a long period of locking my rewards in PoB.
On the other hand, Archon is a great community that I recently discovered, and it's given me the opportunity to meet other hivers, participate in activities, and participate in contests from which I've learned many new things. That's why I significantly increased my stake in this token, locking up a total of 451 tokens.
The rewards for having the token locked are more Archon tokens that I plan to stake to further increase my participation.

Un gran saludo estimada comunidad de Leofinance! Ya estamos a 15 de mayo, y con él nuestro 5to evento importante del año: #LPUD. El día en que tomamos una cantidad de nuestros tokens leo líquidos ya sea que los compramos en el mercado o que los acumulamos haciendo microblogging en #inleo para entonces bloquearlos y de esta manera lograr 2 cosas: reducir el exceso de liquidez del Leo y aumentar nuestro poder de participación en la plataforma. Al día de hoy el precio del token Leo es 0,017$ un precio accesible si deseas comprar Leos para hacer el LPUD como hice yo.
Para ser honesto, he tenido fuertes problemas de conexión esta últimas dos semanas por lo que no pude continuar mis actividades de microblogging en inleo por lo que tuve que comprar algunos tokens leo en Hive Engine, afortunadamente su precio esta bastante accesible y termine comprando unos 128 leos.
Pero volviendo al evento, el LPUD me gusta hacerlo directamente desde el portal de inleo, puedes acceder a él desde el perfil en la pestaña wallet. Una vez alli podremos ver nuestros principales activos en hive y leos.

Curiosamente aquí no aparece reflejado pero el año pasado complete exitosamente los 12 LPUD del 2024, un total de 2000 Leo Power pero decidí delegarlos y diariamente recibo el aproximado de 0.15 leos, espero que al terminar este 2025 logre llegar a otros 2000 de Leo Power para seguir creciendo en la plataforma.

BBH
BBH o Bitcon Backed Hive es un proyecto de la segunda capa de hive que se basa en la creación de un token que tenga paridad 1 a 1 con respecto al satochi. Este proyecto me encantó por la seriedad de sus objetivos y también por las recompensas, semanalmente recibo recompensas en distintos tokens pero 2 de ellos destacan del resto: recompensas en tokens leo y recompensas en swap.hive.
El token BBH no puede bloquearse, asi que las recompensas que recibimos son principalmente por tenerlos en nuestra billetera, actualmente tengo más de 52K lo que me permite también dar propinas con los comentarios. También existe el token BBHO que si se puede bloquear y podemos conseguirlo usando la etiqueta #BBH en nuestras publicaciones.
Panda/Panda miner
El proyecto panda se creo recientemente, el 2024 y me llamó la atención primero por su visión se basa en las recompensas por delegación bajo un esquema estable y de confianza y además esta liderado por Lazy-Panda responsable de hive learners cuyo objetivo es buscar la adopción del proyecto hive en base al conocimiento y no de atajos especulativos.
Lo interesante es que entonces las recompensas por delegar y tener bloqueados tokens panda miner son tanto hive líquidos como tokens panda, lo que me ha llevado a pensar en incrementar mi participación delegando más HP y/o comprando más tokens panda miner, la segunda opción me parece más atractiva ya que no tengo mucho Hp disponible.
Proof of Brain (PoB) & Archons
Estos son tokens de comunidades que me han parecido interesantes. Comenzaré por el que más tiempo tengo trabajando que es Proof of Brain esta comunidad comencé a incorporarme a ella cuando estaba aprendiendo las primeras cosas sobre hive y la web 3, es un token que puede bloquearse para adquirir influencia dentro de la comunidad y poder de voto que se paga con el token PoB y como pueden ver actualmente tengo casi 10K del token producto de un largo periodo bloqueando mis recompensas en PoB.
Por otro lado Archon es una gran comunidad que conocí recientemente y me ha dado la oportunidad de conocer a otros hivers, actividades y concursos de los que he aprendido muchas cosas nuevas, esa es la razón por la que aumenté considerablemente mi participación en este token, bloqueando un total de 451 tokens.
Las recompensas por tener el token bloqueado son más tokens Archons que pienso enviar al stake para aumentar todavía más mi participación.
Y bien amigos con esto cierro este evento de comunidad y les comparto mi balance de tokens que principalmente estoy trabajando, hay otros tokens que también tengo en gran cantidad pero corresponden a juegos en la red de hive como Splinterlands, Rising Star Game o DemoniCore pero los reseñaré con más detalle en el próximo LPUD, por lo pronto solo me queda desearles mucha salud y que sus billeteras de hive sigan creciendo.
