Please keep in mind that the #monomad tag is supposed to be used only with black and white photography published in our community. Basically as the entry ticket for our daily challenge with the same name. It's a contest tag, and not a generic one like #blackandwhite #photography #life #nature, etc.
I forgot about that indeed. Almost every community tag is for the community exapt this one. That confuses me and it's annoying too see this kind of comments about that. I am just posting b&w pictures and want people to see them, I am not waiting for people to comment their whole rule book about some contest. That's why is blocked you and didn't use the tag any more.
I don't see how giving you a friendly nudge about the use of our contest tag can be perceived as "people to comment their whole rule book about some contest."
And the fact is that I commented because you did use the tag wrongly again here.
It's not too hard to grasp what's a contest tag or a generic one. If you know the tag and decide to use it you should as well, at least, try to understand what is it for, and not react the way you did.
Our contest runs since 2017, it's not exactly a new thing around.
A simple heads-up would have been a sentence long, like, hey Peter, check the tag rules about the contest. This is a complete epistel as if we are all baby's.
I hope that "epistel" finally made you understand for what the tag is for.
