My wife would wholly disagree with this one. She likes the fall, but just the other day she was complaining about how annoying the crickets were. If you asked me, I could barely hear them, but for some reason the squeaking was the only thing she could hear all day!

        haha that's funny. Usually most Japanese people seem to like the more gentle autumn insects, but opinions on the much louder summer cicada are more mixed, with many holding an opinion about them similar to your wife's on the crickets.

              That doesn't surprise me at all! I was down in Ohio during Brood X and it was nuts!
