Starting by planting chilies behind the house, I did this as a form of activity in my spare time so that the condition of the garden behind the house is useful for daily needs, and I don't just rely on chilies but I also plant various other plants behind the house at this time.
I always use the small garden behind the house as a location to spend my free time when I don't have activities outside the house and I am quite happy to be able to do activities with nature like this.
Sometimes being a farmer gives me happiness because I can get natural products for my food needs at home, from cooking spices to being able to make extra money when we sell the harvest of a small garden like this.
Initially I started planting chili plants but after the chilies started growing well I thought about adding some other plants, such as sweet potatoes, bananas and also papaya as additional plants for interspersing the empty garden location for planting.
Chili is currently very expensive, in our residence, cayenne pepper is currently priced at around 44,000 Rupiah per kilo, so if we can harvest around 5 kilos a day, the money from the harvest can be used for other daily needs at home.
Not to mention the papaya harvest which can also boost our daily economic revival, papaya is 5 thousand per kilo, if you can harvest 20 kilos per day, of course farmers have enough savings for their economic growth during a financial recession like now.
Currently, papaya has not been harvested because it is still in the process of waiting for the fruit to ripen, and besides that, bananas have not yet entered the time to be harvested because they are still so small.
Maybe in the next few weeks it will be harvested for the future, and of course as farmers we really hope that when entering the harvest time like this it will provide maximum results later, and also have affordable prices to meet the needs of us farmers.
This is the post that I can share on this occasion.
