Hello Hello internet people, how are you? today I would like to share with you my experience buying something I needed for my work, a backpack or backpack type bag, because there I can keep my implements and uniform, for that I went to my favorite store called Mayor Center in Valencia/Venezuela, because I knew that there I could get something I liked.
Hola Hola gente de internet ¿Cómo están? hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes mi experiencia comprando algo que necesitaba para mi trabajo, un bolso tipo morral o mochila, ya que allí puedo guardar mis implementos y uniforme, para eso me dirigí a mi tienda favorita que se llama Mayor Center en Valencia/Venezuela, porque yo sabía que allí yo podría conseguir algo me gustara.
I love that store because there is a little bit of everything: makeup, skincare products, toys, household and pet products 😍 For example, look at those organizer drawers, I love them! seeing them gave me many renovation ideas for my room, these drawers are made of plastic but that's precisely why I like them because they are much cheaper and less heavy. They can be used to store shoes, makeup or anything you can think of, they can be stored inside the closet or used anywhere else in the room.
Yo amo esa tienda porque hay de todo un poco: maquillaje, productos de skincare, juguetes, productos para el hogar y para las mascotas 😍 Por ejemplo, miren esos gaveteros organizadores, ¡Me encantan! verlos me dio muchas ideas de renovación para mi cuarto, estos gaveteros son de plástico pero precisamente por eso me gustan porque son mucho más baratos y menos pesados. Se pueden usar para guardar zapatos, maquillaje o cualquier cosa que se te ocurra, se pueden guardar dentro del armario o usar en cualquier otro lugar de la habitación.
Look at the beautiful bag I found, just like I told you, I knew I would find something suitable for me. I loved the color and all the internal and external compartments it has 😍 but there was just one thing that worried me, and that is that apparently we have entered the rainy season and my means of transportation is my electric moped, which means that my backpack, when riding on my back, would be exposed to all the dirt on the street, especially the dirty water that splashes, and that caused me a little anxiety, so I started thinking about a possible solution and quickly found it 👌 💡 so I thought I would share it with you because it really seemed like something useful to me and that you could also do in case you need it.
Miren la hermosura de bolso que encontré, tal como les dije, yo sabía que encontraría algo adecuando para mi. Me encantó el color y todos los compartimentos internos y externos que tiene 😍 pero solo había algo que me inquietaba, y es que al parecer ya entramos en la época lluviosa y mi medio de transporte es mi bicimoto eléctrica, lo cual significa que mi mochila, al ir en mi espalda estaría expuesta a toda la suciedad de la calle, en especial al agua sucia que salpica, y eso me provocó un poco de ansiedad, así que me puse a pensar en alguna posible solución y rápidamente la encontré 👌 💡 por lo tanto pensé en compartirlo con ustedes porque realmente me pareció algo útil y que ustedes también podrían hacer en caso de necesitarlo.
The first thing I did was put the backpack in the same plastic bag it came in, this way I could use it as a protective cover that would keep away all the dirt or moisture during rainy days.
Lo primero que hice fue meter el morral en la misma bolsa plástica en la que vino, de esta manera lo usaría como funda protectora que mantendría lejos toda la suciedad o humedad durante los días lluviosos.
Then, with a marker I drew a long line across the top of the bag and two more across the top, corresponding to each handle of the backpack.
Luego, con un marcador dibujé una línea larga en la parte superior de la bolsa y dos más en la parte superior, correspondiente a cada asa del morral.
Afterwards, I made some incisions with a utility knife, exactly where I made the marks. After that, all I had to do was push the handles of the bag through the incisions I made. You have to be very careful not to cut too much, otherwise the hole will be too big and the bag might tear under the weight. So, it should only be big enough so that the handles can fit through.
Posteriormente con un cuchillo de papelería hice algunas incisiones, exactamente en los lugares donde hice las marcas, así que después lo único que tuve que hacer fue sacar las asas del morral a través de las incisiones que hice. Hay que tener mucho cuidado de no cortar demasiado o de lo contrario el hueco quedará demasiado grande y con el peso tal vez la bolsa podría romperse, así que solo debe ser lo suficientemente grande para que las asas puedan pasar por ahí.
This way, the handles are free so I can hang the backpack without any problems, and they won't get dirty because they'd be in front of me. Finally, what I did was reinforce the bottom of the bag with a lot of plastic tape, but it's easy to remove and replace when I need to open the bag. I initially tried using Velcro, but glue didn't work, so I thought using plastic tape would be a better option.
De esta manera las asas quedan libres para que yo pueda colgarme el morral sin problemas, y no se ensuciarían porque ellas quedarían delante de mi cuerpo. Por último lo que hice fue reforzar la parte inferior de la bolsa con mucha cinta plástica, pero es fácil de retirar y volver a poner cuando necesito abrir el bolso. En un principio intenté usar velcro pero el pegamento no funcionó, así que me pareció muy apropiado usar cinta plástica.
