Hollooo~~ It's been a while since I made my appearance here XD I've been busy (as usual) buutttt I finally got to draw a little more this week than I did last week, mostly because I tried to finish up most of my workload on Monday and I do not regret anything.
So because I was frre, I went on a drawing spree. And one of the drawings on that list is this little verdion baby.

Just loosely because I wanted to make it look like a cute little dragon spirit in the woods. I used only the crayon brush for this and I really love how the textures came out.
So for my progress, I started with the background. These days, my default texture for my drawings is the ink wash paper because it really gives off that paper texture I keep looking for in digi. Plus when I use this with crayon, it has that textured appeal to it that's still smooth but also a little patchy. My background was also mostly crayon and I do like how solid the colors are when I use the crayon brush so I don't need to take time going over everything a few times like what I dowoth my ink drawings.
This was some 40 minutes in, when I remembered to take a snap but I was basically halfway through shading verdion t this point XD
Then after more shading, some highlights, and a bit of pink to accent the fact that he may be part plant, I am done~~!
Looks weird but also a cutie and I have no regrets with going down this path XD
And I like how this crayon style came out because it's still textured, still a dragon and still reasonably cute. But that would be all from me today because I'm just doing this over my lunch break and it's hard to draw while eating XD
