South India to become a new hub for electronics soon

in LeoFinance10 months ago

When I studied Engineering, Computer Science was the craze and it was the hottest thing to study back then. I never knew that but only later after we passed out I came to know about all these things. But I know one thing for sure that people who studied Electrical and Electronics or Electronics and communication or Bio-Medical Engineering did not have enough jobs. Compared to them, it was a great opportunity for computer science engineers.

The reason why I say this is because there is not enough electronics related companies in South India. There are a few companies in some remote places in north India but in south India people don't have such awareness and people don't make anything exciting in the field of electronics back then. These days the world is moving towards exploring free energy or renewable energy and that's where high scope is still available.

No longer electrical engineers

I was talking to my cousin yesterday who was one guy who did not move to IT industry after completing his electrical and electronics engineering. I say this because it is hard to find people in South India who did their EEE and not moved to IT. Everyone moved to IT jobs in one way or the other. Some people even moved to a night shift based BPO jobs back then because it was not easy to get jobs back then. When we passed out, it was the year after recession and things were slowly picking up speed.

I have to say that there was no awareness for the electrical engineers and there were not enough opportunities in South India. People had to move to other states to work based on what they studied. This is very hard because moving from one state to another state just for jobs may not work well for everyone.

Electronics opportunities in South India

We are able to see a boom in the number of Electronics based companies in South India. A few years back it was not easy to get a job in the same City. Even if there were jobs, they were highly demanding. But today there are many start ups emerging and mainly in the energy sector where they implement solar solutions to people. There are also other companies starting to set their base in South India where they serve clients in other countries.

I read somewhere that building a PCB is one of the hobby kind of job in China. That's why most of the electronic products were from China. People had that skill in the family and they built RAM and other PCB based components just by sitting at home. There were quality ones too but the popular and cheaper ones were built at home by home based workers. It is still a job in China and nobody knows how they are able to manage to make it cheap and affordable.

If there are more opportunities emerging in the field of Electronics, there is no doubt that South India might become the new hub for electronics and people who study electrical and electronics might get opportunities either in the same country or at least in the same state.

I have always known that India will definitely go far in technology because they really have so much of potential to offer and this is really great to see actually

One thing about India is that they have been advancing and keeps at that pace.

It will be good if India can be the new electricity hub in the world
China has always been ahead
Let’s see what India will do

India is indeed renowned for the high caliber of its IT professionals and programmers. The country holds immense potential for expansion in the electronics industry. However, I maintain that it is imperative for the government to implement policies that foster and bolster such endeavors.

It's encouraging to see South India emerging as a hub for electronics, especially with the growth in startups and energy solutions. I feel with the right support and continued innovation, South India might very well follow in China's footsteps, establishing itself as a major center for electronics production and development.

Wow
I didn’t know about this
Nice one!

I have always known that India will always set the standards positively about what to do and not what to do. This is really so awesome
