Greetings friends. Yesterday I told you friends that I visited the Souk Madinat Jumeirah during my trip to Dubai. I even said that we did not enter this huge room from the main entrance, but first took a walk along the water channel that surrounds the bazaar building. At the same time, we also passed under the bridge that leads to the main entrance. We had a very experienced female guide in this regard. She took us to a point where tourists like to take pictures, but there were already a lot of Chinese tourists there. I must say that there are always a lot of them everywhere.
This view reminded me of photos of my friends who visited Venice.
But I understand that there are differences. This water channel is made by human hands, and in Venice, as in St. Petersburg, the channels are of natural origin. In Dubai, even many islands are made by human labor. It's a lot of work, but the result of this work is very beautiful, especially when viewed from a height.
Yesterday I also mentioned a little about the hotel, which is often simply called the "Sail". Indeed, she looks very beautiful.
Christmas in Dubai. There are no Christian churches in this city, but this holiday has long been a World secular holiday. Most people do not attach importance to the historical origin of this holiday, they just like the very atmosphere of this Beautiful and kind action. The Christmas tree is already a global symbol of this holiday, as well as red Santa Claus figurines, and even red caps with caps.
By the way, it was nice to meet similar tables with a mirrored surface. I dined at such tables in a summer cafe in my city and took photos of reflections. How much does a person need to feel a surge of joy? Such little things are always pleasant.
By tradition, at the end of my post, I want to say that I want to return to this place once again and just enjoy these views, sitting at a table in a cafe and drinking coffee with a cake. And for it to be Christmas Eve again.
Yesterday, my son wanted to reproach me and I began to like countries with hot climates. He says that in previous years I talked about loving the North. I explained to him that he was wrong. I have always said that in summer you should live in the North, and in winter in warm southern countries and cities. That's what birds do! But people even fly south in the summer. But it's very hot there in summer! I don't like the heat. By the way, on the day we were in Dubai, the thermometer showed a temperature of about +29 degrees. In summer, in my region, such a temperature with high humidity creates big problems, it is tough to be outside. In Dubai, the humidity is not high and such a temperature seems very comfortable.
This is not the only reflection hunt in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. There will be more results of the reflection hunt on this travel.
