Hello everyone! As I wake up today, I realize my breakfast is going to be a little more substantial than usual. I woke up later than planned, so it’s more of a heavy breakfast today. I start my day with a cup of coffee made with cow’s milk, a combination I absolutely adore. The richness of the milk gives the coffee a unique, comforting flavor that’s simply perfect to wake me up. Alongside it, I enjoy a polo bun with butter—sweet and savory—and a warm plate of wantan mee, a Chinese noodle dish with succulent char siew pork. It’s a meal that feels like a cozy hug to my senses and makes up for my late start.
By the time I finish this simple yet satisfying meal, it’s already almost 11:30 AM. My day isn’t slowing down, though. With school holidays underway, the kids are home, and I’ve got to balance a day of fun and responsibility. I’ll cook something they love, take them to the pool for some enjoyment, and then get dinner ready for the evening.
But it doesn’t end there. I also have my tutoring commitments to uphold, and I need to check in on the burger stall, ensuring everything is running smoothly, from worker salaries to the accounts. And let’s not forget about my online classes, since I’m back to studying as well. In my free time, I retreat to my favorite platform, Hive.blog. It’s my escape where I can express myself, share my stories, and connect with others who appreciate what I write. It’s truly my "me time" amidst the busy moments of the day.
