Like everyday today I am sharing a new post which is related to an insect. The name of the insect is grasshopper. This insect is very familiar to me and it is a common insect in our country. Such insects can be seen in the field in different types of crops. Moreover, such insects can be seen on various plants and among the leaves of plants and sometimes they are seen in rooms during summer. I love this insect when I see it.
I was in my village house a few days ago and there is a sandy field to the south east of our house and there are small and big different types of weedy plants and I see this grasshopper in one of the leaves of that plant. I often see such insects around our house. Moreover, they can be seen sitting among the leaves of various trees at night. I saw this grasshopper that day in the afternoon and it was almost dusk. So I took few pictures with mobile flashlight on and I tried to make each picture good. This insect was very mischievous when I went to photograph it suddenly jumped to another tree leaf and I was able to take a few pictures while sitting there.
This grasshopper looks exactly like grass in color and this type of insect survives by feeding on a variety of weedy grasses. Moreover, this insect has no wings to fly in the sky but can suddenly jump in the sky for a certain period of time. I saw this insect up close and enjoyed the beauty it possesses. However, I took a few photos of this insect as I liked it and am sharing the photos with my friends in the hive community for observation. I hope all my friends will like these pictures of mine.
