A life that is not reviewed is not worth living, this is the saying of the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates. He gave importance to human introspection and thinking. According to him, if we do not regularly question or understand aspects of our life, work, and thoughts, then that life becomes meaningless.

In our daily lives, we do various things — study, work, shopping, socializing, spending time with family, etc. But in the meantime, do we ever stop and ask ourselves, is what I am doing right? What is the goal my life? Is there a logic behind what I am thinking? Asking these questions is the key a fulfilling life.

Personality Development Self-analysis makes a person more aware sensitive discerning. It builds patience, empathy and self-confidence. When we understand what we enjoy doing, or what activities give us mental peace, then we can focus on that.

Real life example

If a student takes a little time at the end of every day to think about what I learned today? What am I weak at? How can I do better? Then the quality of his studies increases a lot. If a working person evaluates his work, behavior, relationships with colleagues and his mental state once a month, he can not only improve professionally, but also live a mentally healthy life.

How to do self-analysis?

Spend some time alone at the end of the day: At the end of every day, you can take 10-15 minutes to think How was your day today? What did I learn?

Writing a diary Writing your thoughts and experiences of the day in a diary or notebook makes a lot clearer.

Life is not just about eating, drinking, sleeping, working and having fun. Self-reflection is a means of realizing that depth of life. If we do not think about life, it means that we are just living, but not truly alive

So this quote from Socrates reminds us — life is not just about breathing, but about living a real life with understanding. Ask yourself questions regularly, think, try to learn — only then will life become meaningful and full of fulfillment.
