It's absolutely upto you, as to how you manage your home garden and growing marvelous #flowers in the pots as well.
They do wonderfully bloom and blossom, just that they really need little extra care when in pots, since you need to water them, supervise and monitor them from time to time.
Quite surprisingly, when growing naturally under the obvious supervision of Mother #Nature they are more prone to external factors.
But home grown are absolutely under your sheer attention and care, the more you show, the more wonderfully blossom!!!

The Tagetes erecta...aka...the Aztec marigold aka Mexican marigold is really a very beautiful big marigold that looks so impressive.
Wow! Just look at the volume of soft, velvety petals that just look amazing.

Geranium or Crane's-bill or Pelargonium peltatum got a mix of them growing fabulously.

Planted just next to the entrance, they really become such a delight for one and all your enter from the main gate, as if we are gracefully welcoming them in the most impressive manner.
Obviously, it's a site for everyone to see them at the first instance and be very cheerfully created, bringing broad smiles on many faces.
But there is an important message to convey... please don't pluck them!!!
