Gracias a la lente y la iniciativa semanal de nuestro amigo @lanzjoseg, hoy nos detenemos ante una imagen que es, en sí misma, un poema a la voluntad. No es solo una fotografía de logística; es el testimonio visual de un movimiento que no se detiene, una ventana a esa Venezuela que, a pesar de las sombras, insiste en encender luces a través de la unión y el apoyo mutuo.

"Hechos de Otra Pasta", el Latido de la Solidaridad en Venezuela

Bajo un sol que parece derretir el asfalto, una camioneta blanca se convierte en el epicentro de la esperanza. No hay rostros cansados, solo brazos que se extienden. En la tolva del vehículo, un joven coordina la descarga de cajas que contienen mucho más que ollas o alimentos. Contienen la certeza de que nadie está solo. Observo la escena y no puedo evitar recordar la frase de Begoña Gerpe: "Los venezolanos están hechos de otra pasta". Y tiene razón. Es una pasta amasada con dificultades, pero horneada con una fe inquebrantable y una empatía que desafía cualquier lógica económica o política.

Esa "otra pasta" es lo que en nuestras tierras llamamos guáramo, es esa fuerza visceral que surge cuando el camino se pone cuesta arriba. Lo vemos en esos jóvenes de la imagen, trabajando hombro con hombro, cargando el peso no solo de las cajas, sino del bienestar de su comunidad. Es una red invisible pero poderosa de héroes anónimos que, desde el gesto más pequeño, demuestran que cuando los venezolanos juntan su guáramo, no hay obstáculo que se mantenga en pie. Son manos que no solo entregan insumos, sino que reconstruyen la dignidad de un pueblo que se niega a rendirse.

Desde la distancia, con el corazón apretado y los ojos puestos en estas imágenes, solo puedo sentir un eterno agradecimiento. Gracias a los que se quedan y sudan la gota gorda para ayudar al vecino; gracias a los que organizan estos centros de acopio; gracias a cada mano que pasa una caja a la siguiente. Ustedes son la verdadera cara de nuestro país.

Hermanos venezolanos, su resiliencia no es solo supervivencia, es una lección de humanidad para el mundo entero. Aunque muchos estemos lejos, nuestra alma late al ritmo de sus esfuerzos. Sigan demostrando de qué madera (o de qué pasta) estamos hechos los venezolanos. Que ese fuego de la solidaridad no se apague nunca, porque es lo que nos mantiene vivos, unidos y, sobre todo, profundamente humanos.

Thanks to the lens and weekly initiative of our friend @lanzjoseg, today we pause before an image that is, in itself, a poem to willpower. It's not just a logistical photograph; it's the visual testimony of a movement that doesn't stop, a window into that Venezuela which, despite the shadows, insists on lighting lights through unity and mutual support.

"Made of Different Stuff", the Heartbeat of Solidarity in Venezuela

Under a sun that seems to melt the asphalt, a white pickup truck becomes the epicenter of hope. There are no tired faces, only outstretched arms. In the truck bed, a young man coordinates the unloading of boxes that contain much more than pots or food. They contain the certainty that no one is alone. I observe the scene and can't help but recall Begoña Gerpe's phrase: "Venezuelans are made of different stuff". And she's right. It's a dough kneaded with difficulty, but baked with unwavering faith and an empathy that defies any economic or political logic.

That "other dough" is what we call guáramo in our land; it's that visceral strength that emerges when the road gets tough. We see it in those young people in the image, working shoulder to shoulder, carrying the weight not only of the boxes, but also of the well-being of their community. It's an invisible but powerful network of unsung heroes who, with the smallest gesture, demonstrate that when Venezuelans gather their guáramo, no obstacle can stand. These are hands that not only deliver supplies, but also rebuild the dignity of a people who refuse to surrender.

From afar, with a heavy heart and my eyes fixed on these images, I can only feel eternal gratitude. Thank you to those who stay and sweat blood to help their neighbors; thank you to those who organize these collection centers; Thank you to every hand that passes a box to the next. You are the true face of our country.

My Venezuelan brothers and sisters, your resilience is not just about survival; it is a lesson in humanity for the entire world. Although many of us are far away, our souls beat to the rhythm of your efforts. Keep showing what Venezuelans are made of. May that fire of solidarity never be extinguished, because it is what keeps us alive, united, and, above all, deeply human.
